In one sentence, how would you describe your business?
Happenstance Studio helps enthusiastic creative entrepreneurs find their visual voice through brand identity design.

Where were you when you started your business? What led to that moment of deciding "I'm going to take this idea to the next level"?
I was living the zombie life in a corporate marketing setting complete with gray cubicles, office jargon and spreadsheets. It paid the bills but I was so desperately unhappy, unchallenged and unmotivated. So, after months of reflection, a little encouragement and some serious blind faith I decided to put in my resignation and simply see what came next. That was October of 2016 and since then I've been working on building my business and helping some really wonderful clients start building their brands, as well.

Of all the different paths your business could take, what's one place you can see your business in five years?
Eesh...I can barely picture 5 days from now! But if I'm honest I would love to have established myself as an expert and a resource for others, as well as have some really amazing brand designs under my belt that have taken clients to the next level in their businesses. And if I'm reaching for the stars here it would be amazing to have a product line developed by then!

What is your entrepreneurial superpower?
Um...my ability to sniff out free doughnuts?? I'm not sure what it would be but I do think I'm good at listening to clients and discovering what they actually mean when they can't find the words themselves.

What is next for you? Anything big on the horizon? Upcoming events or releases you want to pimp out?
Actually, yes! I am in the early stages now but I am currently developing a series of pre-fab brands I'm calling "Brand Bundles." I want to bring a more affordable option for those can't swing custom pricing but still need to have a strong, professional brand presence so these babies will come with everything you need to get started including a logo, submark, color palette, biz card, etc. All that we have to do is replace your name in the concept and then you'll be off and running!

If you lost the tools you currently use & could never have them again, how would you continue to spread your message? What avenue would you take to continue pursuing your passions?
That is absolutely terrifying but I would just continue to get out there and meet people! Networking is tough (said the introvert) but when I do it always pays off and leads me to wonderful new people.
